Today, Friday 13th March, was the day of our Comic Relief Red Nose Day Prize Draw, which saw some fantastic prizes won by members of the local community.
Top Prize went Mr Alistair Bow who won a pair of tickets to the 2015 British Grand Prix at Silverstone, where he will see the likes of Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton battle it out for a place at the top of the podium. Other prizes included signed Nottingham Forest Football and Derbyshire County Cricket shirts, as well as a champagne breakfast at the fabulous Morley Hayes hotel.
Other prizes including a football signed by players from Derby County FC, luxury gift hampers, a signed Derby County FC Tickets, Champagne, bottles of wine and of course chocolates. Exactly 2,000 tickets have been sold for this year’s raffle at a cost of £1 each, raising a total of £2,000 with every single penny going to Comic Relief, helping people in need both in the UK and abroad.
