Toyota Safety Sense has been launched on AYGO and Yaris models – great news for drivers who want that extra little bit of safety in their new car.
From 1st August 2015, the Toyota Safety Sense suite of active & passive driver safety aids will be available to order as an option on all AYGO and Yaris models (excluding AYGO x and Yaris Active).
On AYGO, Toyota Safety Sense will include the full Pre Collision System first seen on New Auris & Avensis, comprised of Forward Collision Warning, Pre-Crash Brake Assist & Autonomous Emergency Braking. Additionally, the AYGO will get Lane Departure Warning, which lets you know of if you accidentally stray out of your lane on the motorway without indicating first. The price for TSS on AYGO is £375.
On Yaris, Toyota Safety Sense will include the full Pre Collision System, Lane Departure Warning and also Automatic High Beam, which automatically turns off the high beam if other cars, street lights or house lights are detected, and switches it back on again once past. The price for TSS on Yaris (including Hybrid) is £400.
