Toyota have once again partnered with Screwfix for the Britian’s Top Tradesperson 2015. The search is on to find the Tradesperson that truly excels in the chosen trade, whether you’re a plumber, electrician, builder or anything else, you can enter this year’s competition to win a brand new Toyota Hilux or PROACE van, worth £30,000 OTR.
Last year’s competition was won by Raymond McKnight, who impressed the judging panel with his commitment to plumbing and his enthusiasm for the trade, beating the other finalists in and being crowned Britain’s Top Tradersperson. This year, all finalists will be invited to Wembley stadium for a special event in which one stand-out candidate will be triumphant, and get their hands on the keys to a brand new Hilux or PROACE van.
Michael Cairns, who won the competition in 2012, said:
“When people see the logo and see the endorsement the company have, they tend to look nowhere else, they just say ‘if you’re within our ball park, and that’s what we’re looking for, then we’ll use you as a business”.
“When I got the phone call, at first I thought ‘I’ve won this’, and then I thought… ‘nah I’ve not won it’, but when they told me that I’d won, I had to try and stay as calm as I could on the phone but I was absolutely over the moon!”.
Tom Ball, who won the competition in 2013, said:
“Winning Britian’s Top Tradesman has had a massive impact on my business. The phone just hasn’t stopped ringing and I couldn’t actually keep up with it, so I had to take on another joiner”
“I didn’t even know until the lady rang me and said that the final was at Wembley and I said ‘you’re joking!’, and then meeting all the guys down at Wembley, everyone was so nice, and I didn’t know what to expect. Would it be really competitive? It’s just a great experience, something that I’ll always remember.
