We’re excited and proud to have been able to support the Inspire and Achieve Foundation with their project at the RHS Chatsworth Flower Show

A ceremonial cheque was presented to Charity Director Pippa Carter, as well as student Phoebe at their Garden in the grounds Chatsworth House by Group Marketing Manager Nathan Dale and Centre Principal for Toyota Mansfield, Mike Lane.

The donation of £1,800 went towards covering some of the costs of constructing the garden, as well as transportation for the young people who were chosen to work on the ambitious project.
The Garden itself certainly stood out with its daring design and inspirational theme. It was deliberately constructed to look derelict and broken from the outside, complete with large weeds donated by Leeds University, with beautiful flowers planted inside the walls. The exterior is designed to represent how some young people are viewed by society, but encourages you to look deeper inside where you will find creativity, inspiration and beauty you might not expect.
Nathan Dale, Group Marketing Manager at Ron Brooks, said:
“It’s great that we’ve managed to secure funding for what is a truly worthwhile cause. Inspire and Achieve along with the Architects have created something truly unique and conveys a powerful message that people won’t forget. Giving young people the skills & confidence to better themselves is something we believe in as a business.”

Inspire and Achieve work with 16-25 year olds who haven’t had the best start in life, mentoring and helping them with the eventual goal of getting them back into education or employment.
The donation was made using money from the Toyota Fund for a Better Tomorrow, which gives every UK-based Toyota Centre the chance to access funding for a local charity or education project that will have a positive impact on the people involved and the local community as a whole.
