The all new 2017 Suzuki Swift has ARRIVED at Ron Brooks Suzuki in Mansfield. As the Swift Suzuki’s best-selling car in the UK, we are rather excited about it!
Suzuki have sold over 5 million Swift models since the cars launch, and the new fourth-generation is set to capitalise on that success with new styling, lighter construction and improved levels of safety, comfort, space and technology, whilst remaining true to the car’s traditional characteristics of being fun to drive and economical to run.
The range, which starts from £10,999 OTR, includes SZ4, SZ-T and SZ5 trim levels from launch, with a choice of 1.2-litre Dualjet and 1.0-litre Boosterjet engines, as well as the option of an automatic gearbox and four-wheel-drive on the top-spec SZ5 grade.
SZ5 Boosterjet models are also accompanied by Suzuki’s SHVS system, which stands for “Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki”. This system fills in the gaps in the torque range, while helping the engine to use less fuel when accelerating from standstill, lowering running costs in the process.
The model we have is a top-spec SZ5 Boostjerjet with SHVS, finished in Mineral Grey Metallic paint with a Black Dual-Tone roof. Standard features on the car include automatic climate control, LED headlamps, adaptive cruise control, keyless entry with push-button start, rear electric windows, rear-view camera, 16″ alloy wheels, satellite navigation and much, much more.
