Toyota have unveiled the latest incarnation of the AYGO x-cite special edition, which replaces the Yellow Fizz model launched in 2016.
The red-hot AYGO x-cite is finished in bright Red Pop paintwork with a contrasting black roof, plus gloss black mirror casings, rear bumper insert, A-pillar extensions and of course the striking front “x”. The look is finished off with a set of gloss-black 15-inch alloy wheels complete with red centre caps.
Inside the new “blaze” upholstery combines black fabric with red bolsters, plus contrast stitching. Items such as the air vent surrounds & upper door trims match the Red Pop exterior, while other bits are gloss black. The carpet mats, which are included in the price, have thick red edging on too.
Specification has been ramped up as well, with the Red Pop AYGO x-cite getting automatic climate control, dusk-sensing headlights, x-touch multimedia system and automatic headlights as standard. Other features include front fog lamps and rear privacy glass.
As with all AYGO models, the x-cite is fitted with Toyota’s fun-to-drive and frugal 69bhp 1.0-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine, offered with either a 5-speed manual gearbox or x-shift semi-automatic transmission.
This fantastic new model is priced at £12,520 for the manual & £13,220 for the x-shift semi-automatic.
