The new GT86 range has been given added spice with the GT86 Club Series: Orange Edition
“Club Series” is the new banner under which all future limited edition GT86 models will be named, and the Orange Edition is the first of these to get the new name. As you might imagine, it is finished in striking Solar Orange paint, which is applied using a special triple-coat process which gives an extra depth to the tone. The paint is complemented with metallic black spiiler, door mirrors and 17-inch anthracite alloy wheels.
The interior of the Orange Edition gets leather/Alcantara sports seats with contrasting orange stitching plus black suede covering the dashboard and door panels which also gets orange stitching.
Standard specification includes Toyota Touch 2 multimedia, DAB digital radio, Bluetooth, heated front seats, aluminium sports pedals, cruise control and climate control. Handling remains the priority of the GT86, and a balanced chassis, low centre of gravity combined with limited slip differential plus performance brake discs and pads play key roles in this.
Power from the 2.0-litre boxer engine remains the same at 197 bhp.
GT86 Club Series: Orange Edition is available to order now at Ron Brooks Toyota Ilkeston & Mansfield with prices starting from £28,800 for the six-speed manual version. A six-speed automatic is available at extra cost.
