Toyota have now unveiled a new 2016 version of the Yaris, with the addition of a Design grade which replaces the Yaris Sport. It’s available with petrol and hybrid drivetrains.
This stylish new addition to the Yaris lineup will also benefit from increased an increased specification level, improved aesthetics but retain a £14,995 starting price for the Design 1.33 VVT-i Manual, the same as the outgoing Yaris Sport.
Aesthetics on the new Yaris Design will include gloss-black alloy wheels, honeycomb mesh front grille, chrome fog lamp surrounds, LED daytime running lights and a rear spoiler. Full specification includes:

Bi-tone Toyota Yaris
A new Bi-colour option has been added to the price list (£795) which gives an metallic Eclipse Black finish to the top half of the car, covering the roof, front pillars, door mirrors and upper grille. This is available with contrasting Vermillion Red or Glacier Pearl White bodywork. Both cars get a black headlining inside, while Glacier White cars will also come with bespoke two-tone grey interior & seats.
New Option Packs
Increased value and choice is one of the key features of the Yaris, and two new option packs have been added to the price list for customers to choose from. The Yaris Premium Pack (Excel Hybrid only) adds a rear spoiler, keyless entry, auto-folding door mirrors, Satellite navigation and a Skyview Panoramic Windscreen – an incredible amount of added specification for just £1,095. The Convenience Pack, applicable to petrol and diesel versions of the Design model, includes automatic lights and wipers, keyless entry, auto-folding door mirrors, dual-zone climate control and push-button start.
Toyota Safety Sense
Toyota Safety Sense has been available on the Yaris for several months now, and can be specified on Icon, Design and Excel versions of the 2016 Yaris. This includes Pre-Collision System, Lane Departure Alert and Automatic High-beam.
