New 2015 Toyota Hilux Invincible X

Toyota have unveiled the latest addition to the Hilux Double-Cab family, the new range-topping Invincible X.

As you can see from the photos, it’s probably the best-looking Hilux ever (alongside the Top Gear Polar Hilux) with a range of personalisation options that enhance the appearance and style of your favourite pick-up truck.

Hilux Invincible X allows customers to choose between four different types of 17-inch alloy wheels, including silver 6×2 wheels (standard on Icon and Invincible grades), or Rica 6-spoke alloys that are finished as either matt black, matt black/machined or anthracite/machined.

As well as four choices of alloy wheels, there’s also four choices of leather interior trim including full black leather, black/grey two-tone, black/tan two-tone or black/deep red two-tone. Two-tone designs are bossed with the X logo to make the interior feel really special, while the black leather retains the invincible logo.

Hilux Invincible X Chrome Bars

There’s plenty of upgrades for Hilux Invincible X. One we expect to be very popular is the Style Pack, which adds plenty of shin bits to your truck including chrome door handle garnish, aluminium scuff plates, chrome air intake surround, chrome fog lamp surround, a chrome rear lamp surround and a front bumper guard with silver under-run. Specify a chrome Hi-Over Bar to add even more purpose to the exterior look and feel of the Hilux, and you can complement this with the optional solid chrome side bar. For added practicality, the chrome side bar can be swapped for chrome side steps which make getting in and out of the cabin easier.

The only engine available with this new grade of Hilux is the powerful 169bhp 3.0-litre D-4D engine, with a choice of manual and automatic transmissions. As standard the car is fitted with a selectable permanent four-wheel-drive system and auto-disconnecting differential, and it’s capable of towing an impressive 2.8-tonnes.

As with all Invincible pick-up trucks, the Toyota Hilux Invincible X features as standard the Bluetooth-compatible Toyota Touch 2 Multimedia System, rear-view parking camera, headlamp cleaners, rear privacy glass, climate control, cruise control, automatic lights, front fog lights and an alarm. Safety features include front side and curtain airbags and vehicle stability control.

It is available to order now from Ron Brooks Toyota, and is priced from £23,842 for the manual transmission version and £24,842 for the automatic (commercial vehicle on-the-road, not including VAT).
