TWO BRAND NEW special edition AYGOs have been launched by Toyota this June. They include a brand new version of the popular AYGO x-cite special edition, with a fresh new colour scheme, and a new x-pure AYGO has also been unveiled.
New 2015 AYGO x-cite
The new and updated-for-2015 x-cite has had a new lick of paint, with the vibrant Cyan Splash blue replacing the Orange Twist paintwork. This metallic colour is contrasted brilliantly by gloss black 15” alloy wheels, a gloss black front X, gloss black door mirrors and gloss black rear bumper inserts for a truly striking appearance.
For even more visual impact, style-savvy customers can add a metallic black painted roof and front/rear pillars for an additional £395. This option also includes rear privacy glass for maximum design flair. Below is a sneak peek of the very first 2015 AYGO x-cite to arrive at Ron Brooks in Cyan Splash Blue. There’s a few bits of protective plastic (on the doors and on the sills) that won’t be there – this car has not even been prepared for sale yet.
Inside the new x-cite, you’ll find dark grey cloth seats complete with blue/light grey bolsters, as well as Cyan Splash air vent surrounds and Cyan Splash around the edges of the carpet mats. You’ll also notice the gloss black centre console and gear shift lever surround.
In terms of equipment, the x-cite features as standard air conditioning, electrically-adjustable heated door mirrors, split-folding rear seats, leather steering wheel, leather gear shift lever, front fog lights, height-adjustable driver’s seat, LED daytime running lights and of course the excellent x-touch multimedia system that includes Bluetooth and DAB digital radio as well as a reversing camera.
AYGO x-pure
The AYGO x-pure is a brand new addition to the 2015 AYGO range, and differs from all other variants due to its White Flash paintwork combined with silver-finished bodywork features such as the trademark front X. The 15” alloy wheels are painted white too and really set off the bodywork colour. Inside the standard grey fabric covering the seats is flanked by white and grey seat bolsters.
Inside, the x-pure has the same specification as the x-cite, and comes with x-touch multimedia, DAB digital radio, Bluetooth connectivity, air conditioning, electrically-adjustable heated door mirrors, split-folding rear seats, leather gear shift lever, leather steering wheel, front fog lights and LED daytime running lights.
Can I order one? How much are they?
The new 2015 AYGO x-cite is priced from £11,295 OTR for a three-door manual version, £11,695 for a manual five-door version and £12,395 for a five-door with x-shift automatic transmission.
The 2015 AYGO x-pure three-door is also £11,295 for a three-door manual, £11,695 for a 5 door manual and £12,395 for an x-shift automatic version.
