Ron Brooks Limited are delighted to again be representing the Toyota brand at the 2016 Derbyshire County Show, held at the showground in Elvaston near Derby on Sunday June 26th.
It is with sadness that we have learned that the 2016 Derbyshire County show has been cancelled due to excessive water on the showground leading to unsafe conditions.
This year we will be housed in the Toyota “Event Pod” show unit which has all the mod-cons and features you would expect of a Toyota-quality unit, such as Tea/Coffee making facilities, TV screens and an impressive sound system. We will be hoping to also make use of the air conditioning rather than the inbuilt heating system!
We will have all the latest Toyota models on show including the AYGO, Yaris, Auris Hybrid, RAV4 Hybrid, Hilux, GT86, Avensis and all-new Prius. If you need any information or have a quick question, on the day we’ll have Paul Lander, Neil Haynes, Nathan Dale, Louisa Bull and Ryan Shipley on hand to help.
The show itself will play host to a number of entertaining acts who will be performing in the main show ring, such as the much-travelled J.C Balls digger dancing team and The Knights of the Damned Jousting Team who will be sure to put on an awesome show.
Other attractions for this year include the ever-popular Dog Show, Show Jumping, Heavy Horse Turnouts, vintage cars and agricultural vehicles, Craft and retail stands and sections for Bees, Rabbits and Poultry.
The countryside area will feature Hedge laying, Dry Stone Walling and stands for farming groups such as the National Farmers Union.
With a bit of luck we will have some good weather on the Sunday and everyone will be able to enjoy the day’s activities. Please do come to our stand for a complimentary cup of tea or coffee and a chat!
