DEAR CUSTOMER,

We are happy to inform you that our Service Department is still open and we are following Government guidelines to keep you and our staff safe. Therefore, if you are due a visit to us, please attend on the arranged date and time. We would however recommend you contact us before arriving.

If you have to reschedule, please contact us and we will rearrange a new appointment.

For your peace of mind, we have this FAQ section on our website that provides a wide-range of information for servicing and aftersales related questions. We will keep this section updated throughout this period.

  • Q – What do I do If my car requires a service?
    A – Our workshops are open and able to service your car. If your car has an overdue service please book in now. All locations have implemented new procedures following the latest Government guidelines, including Social distancing materials implemented throughout showrooms and service centres to ensure the safety and wellbeing of customers and staff at the dealership. These include screen guards, hand sanitiser stations, signage and floor graphics..
  • Q – What happens to the warranty if the service is not completed on time?
  • A -Your car should be maintained and serviced according to the manufacturer’s guidelines and recommendations to ensure your warranty remains intact. However, if there is a valid warranty claim on your car and the latest scheduled service has been delayed during UK Lockdown up to 31 July 2020, we will honour valid warranty claims. Please note all other warranty Terms and Exclusions apply.
  • Q – How should I look after my car whilst waiting for a service?
  • A – It is important you maintain your car regardless of servicing requirements. We recommend that you regularly check the following items:

    • Engine oil level
    • Coolant level
    • Windscreen washer fluid level
    • Tyre condition and pressures, including spare if fitted
    • Exterior lights
    Please refer to your owner’s manual for more information. If your service is delayed it is even more important that you regularly carry out the checks detailed above until the scheduled service is carried out, paying particular attention to the oil level.

  • Q – Will you service my Toyota safely?
  • A – Ron Brooks have prioritised the safety of our staff and customers by following the latest guidelines and advice from the UK Government. Various measures have been implemented to ensure that your vehicle is cleaned and sanitised while it’s in the workshop and before it’s handed back to you. Please do not visit if you are currently self-isolating or are experiencing any Covid-19 symptoms.
  • Q – Will my service plan expire If I cannot service my car on time?
  • A – No your service plan will remain valid and cover the cost of your services regardless of when they are undertaken
  • Q – How do I book my car for a service?
  • A – You can phone or book your service online at here . As you might expect, our teams are working through a backlog of servicing and working with new safety procedures, so you may have to book further ahead than usual.
