Next year will see the activation of a wide range of promotional activity between Suzuki and Ant and Dec, starting with Sponsorship of Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway in January/February next year.
The newly announced deal will also make Suzuki the first company to take advantage of a newly formed division of ITV Commercial, called ITV AdVentures, which is labelled as a “one stop shop for talent, production, distribution and promotion”. Produced by ITN Productions, the newly formed division will create unique branded content for use on television as well as online up to and including social media activity.
The new commercials will feature both Ant and Dec as well as Little Ant and Dec and will reflect the family fun nature of the show, as well as the family-fun nature of Suzuki products such as the brilliant all-new Vitara.
There’s also talk of a country-wide roadshow, but details are sketchy on that particular aspect of the campaign. Who knows, maybe they’ll visit the New in Town Ron Brooks Suzuki Mansfield and launch the new Showroom in March?

Simon Daglish, ITV’s Deputy Director of Commercial, commented: “This is a hugely ambitious commercial activation for ITV and Suzuki. We have designed a comprehensive package of opportunities for Suzuki to share in the fun, family-centric experience that is ITV’s Saturday nights.”
“We are thrilled that Suzuki has become our first partner in ITV’s new division ITV AdVentures and we look forward to creating compelling content for them online. With social, interactivity, sponsorship bumpers on the ITV Hub and game activation also in the mix, this partnership marks a further milestone in what brands can achieve in partnership with ITV.”
Suzuki GB’s Director, Sales and Marketing, Dale Wyatt, said: “Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway plays a huge part in British family life and represents all the values we strive for. We’re very excited to be partnering with ITV to deliver a partnership of such scale and with a level of integration not seen before.”
We’re looking forward to seeing what kind of fun Ant and Dec are going to have with Suzuki in the new year.
