The all new 2016 Toyota Prius has been released, and is available to view and test drive at Ron Brooks now.
This exciting new model has taken pride of place in our two modern Toyota showrooms in Ilkeston & Mansfield, having been launched in February.
It can achieve up to 94.2mpg on the combined cycle (when specified with 15″ wheels) and offers a new and improved driving experience thanks to the latest generation of hybrid technology that is utilised for the first time in new Prius. Also making its debut is the new TNGA (Toyota New Global Architecture) chassis platform, which offers increased driving pleasure, better handling and improved efficiency thanks to reduced weight and a lower centre of gravity.
All new Prius grades feature Toyota Safety Sense as standard, which includes a pre-collision assist system which features a forward collision warning & autonomous emergency braking, radar adaptive cruise control, road sign assist, lane departure alert and automatic high beam.
The grade we have in the showroom is a top-of-the-range Excel model, which has incredible specification and innovative features such as a wireless phone charger – which is able to work with most modern phones with NFC communication (including iPhones if an additional sticker is purchased for around £15). Other features on the excel model include 17″ alloy wheels, leather upholstery, JBL premium audio system, rain-sensing wipers, Toyota Touch 2 Multimedia with Go Plus Navigation, heated front seats, front/rear parking sensors, intelligent park assist and much more.
Options (not shown here) include the black pack, the chrome park as well as inserts for the alloy wheels to make an extra style statement if you wish. New Prius starts from £23,295 for and Active model rising to £27,450 for an Excel grade. Prices correct at time of publishing.
